Remembering and guest blogging

When I was growing up, my Grandmother from time to time would meet her close friends out. She never left without her hat and gloves and always wore hose. My Grandmother would say "A lady always, wears hose” Well, I have fell on the wagon in the hosiery department.

They would be seated around some fabulous dining table or a covered porch, catching up on the latest gossip while having tea and chatting for hours and hours.
But don’t let me keep jabbering, I’m guest blogging today for Adrienne of Mustard Seed Collective. Please stop by to check me out, and have a cup to tea today. I am.

  2. My grandmother use to wear pantyhose too! Or were they called stockings? Or were they knee hi's? All I remember is that she use to pull those things up here leg and if they were too big, she would twist them and turn the top til it made a little ball! Oh, I miss my grandma!

  4. @UrbanGlamGyrl, yes I feel really bad when I don't wear them to church. I have a fabulous collection of colored and patterned hose to wear in the Winter too.

  7. In 6th grade, I told my Mother that I needed "stockings" for my music concert. I was given knee highs which is why I splurge on things like lace hose and lovely hose for the fall and winter.
Did you know this post hit a nerve....all the way back to 6th grade. Let's hear it for the ladies and the hose wearing type!
